HFCC now uses one username and password for all systems, including WebAdvisor, MoodleRooms, HawkMail, GroupWise, network logins and more. This page provides information and links on how to manage your HFCC universal password and other account information. You can use the following links for common tasks, or read more details below.

Your Login Information
Your HANK ID is a unique seven-digit number that is your permanent Student/Employee ID number stored in the HANK database system. Students can get their HANK ID from their instructor, as it is printed on all class rosters, or contact the Office of Registration and Records.
When using your HANK ID, add one or more zeros to the beginning of the number to make it seven digits long. (example: 0499654)
Your HFCC login name (or username, or sometimes User ID) is generated by the HANK system and used by all other systems on campus. This is usually your first initial, middle initial, and last name, followed by a number (if necessary) to create a unique ID. Your login name can be changed by the Office of Registration and Records if necessary due to a name change or misspelling.
Managing Your Password
Your password starts out as a four-digit number taken from the MONTH and DAY (not YEAR) of your birth date. If there is no birth date recorded in HANK, a random number will be used instead.
You need to change your password right away, or it will expire!
If you have never logged in and don't know your password, the easiest way to get started is to activate your account. This can be used one time only to set up your password based on other information stored in the HANK system.
If you know your password, you can skip activation and proceed directly to change my password.
Either way, you will be prompted to set up some challenge questions that will allow you reset your password in the future, in case you forget it or get locked out due to password expiration. It is very important that you remember the answers to these questions, so choose wisely!
Pick a password that is easy to remember but hard to guess. Make sure that the new password you choose is at least 5 characters or numbers long but no more than 20.
Never share your password with anyone. You are responsible for all activities performed under your account. A network administrator will never ask you for your password. When diagnosing a problem, authorized HFCC network technicians should always pass you the keyboard and have you type in your password.
If you think someone has stolen your password, change it immediately.
Access to System Resources
Your login name is permanent and will always work for certain HFCC systems, such as WebAdvisor. Access to most network resources is limited to current HFCC students and employees.
Your Network Login: All current HFCC students and employees have access to HFCC network resources. Your network login is created automatically based on information in HANK.
Student accounts automatically expire 60 days after your last registered class ends. Account expiration dates will be automatically updated as students register for additional semesters.
Your MoodleRooms Login: MoodleRooms is HFCC's online classroom system, providing access to course materials and other class resources. MoodleRooms logins are only provided for users who are associated with specific online or online-enhanced courses. Use your HFCC universal password to access MoodleRooms.
